Hotel is in the city center, Metro, shops, restaurants, staff is very friendly and helpful, room is clean. Good place from the walk to the city center, museum, historical monuments. Transit to the airport, bus station or train is very easy - Metro.

The city centre location could not be better! Although right in the heart of Madrid there waslittle or no outside noise from our room. The Hotel staff were excellent, both in answering our questions prior to our arrival and once we were there. High standard of cleanliness throughout. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and easily worth around 8-10 euros per day. Lucky to be allocated a rook with a patio which further enhanced our stay. Well done all at Hotel Sterling and we would certainly use it for future trips to Madrid.

You'd think they'd offer some kind of upgrade or complimentary gift for all my trouble, but no, they just ignore their guests. Disappointing.

They offered me a very quiet room at the back - just as I asked
The room was little and dark (1st floor), but with every comfort I wished The other guests in the hotel were noisy The breakfast was sober

Loved the spacious bathroom and very clean room! The location made it easy to explore the city, being just a short walk from Gran Via. Just a bit noisy at night, but overall a great stay! 😊

The position is very good and the room was spacious
Not perfectly clean. No food or drinks in the fridge. Breakfast so and so. No charm: functional but anonymous. In the end, it was too espensive for what it offered.
